About Radiant You

Eva Stephens, CEPC, CRP

Growing up I cannot remember a time when my beautiful mother was not on a diet.  Her challenges with food controlled so much of her life, and contributed not only to emotional pain, but also many health concerns.  Although I saw first-hand that all of the dieting and exercise in the world could not bring my mother the happiness she was longing for in her life, I personally succumbed to our society’s collective approach to weight loss after gaining weight myself.

It took many years of ineffective, “one-size-fits-all” strategies before I decided it was time for a change.  I stopped dieting, participated only in forms of exercise that I actually enjoyed, and started studying for my nutrition and wellness certification.  The results were inspiring, and yet, as I continued to have my own challenges with weight, and witnessed those same challenges in my clients, I realized that something was still missing.

This led me to The Institute for the Psychology of Eating where I discovered the important “missing link” so many of us are seeking.  I was amazed to learn how profoundly our nutritional metabolism is affected by everything from our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, to our level of stress or relaxation during meals.

My passion quickly became about helping clients to uncover the reasons why their symptoms existed in the first place, which usually was never about food.  The work we do together is empowering, life-affirming, and reflect my desire to help people live authentic and meaningful lives.  I feel blessed every day to witness the miracles that occur when people connect with the innate truth of who they are.
